Biosecurity
Seeding‑grade seed is supplied in a natural, minimally processed form suitable for broad‑scale revegetation works implemented using in-field direct seeding methods. This product may include stems, florets, husks, and other non‑seed plant material, resulting in a lower pure‑seed count than cleaned or retail‑grade alternatives. Because of its raw composition, it may require preparation such as mulching or blending before application.
The lower level of processing makes seeding‑grade seed an economic option intended for large‑area projects and is generally available in bulk quantities. Although sometimes suitable, it is usually not recommended for nursery propagation.
